(TSX.V: ELVT; OTCQX: EVGDF) (the “Company” or “Elevation Gold”) announces Marcel de Groot has stepped down as a Director of the Company and has transitioned to an advisory role, and Tim Swendseid, the Company’s current President, has been named a Director and the CEO of the Company, effective today.
Douglas J. Hurst, Chairman and Director of Elevation Gold, stated, “Marcel has made numerous, outstanding contributions to the Company. We look forward to having Marcel continue in an advisory role that he will now assume. On behalf of the entire Board, I warmly thank Marcel for his very important involvement with the Company.
“Mr. Swendseid, who joined the Company a year ago in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer, and who was promoted to President in August, has been named a director of the company and the Company’s Chief Executive Officer.
